Preparing Your Guest List
Guest lists should be typed and sent to me as a Microsoft Word document or an editable PDF. Please type EXACTLY what you want to appear on the envelope. I will scribe these names and addresses verbatim.
A good rule of thumb for invitation addressing is to avoid abbreviations and spell out everything. The only exception is the prefix to a name (Mr., Mrs., Ms., etc.). While compiling your guest list, you will come across many different family and living situations. There are many online resources for addressing these situations. Type them how you see fit.

(Example is a married man and woman with children living at home)

Children are not typically listed on outer envelopes, even when an inner envelope does not accompany it. However, the above rules are a combination of what I generally see and personal preference. These invitations are coming from you, and I will address them however you prefer.
